# Launcher Error

### Failed to retrieve update from server

If you get an error like this (see image), it's because your computer can't access the remote server. To try and solve this problem, you can follow the steps below:\

**Steps :**\

• Check that the server is online (see update information, etc.)\
• If the server is online, try to check/change your DNS ([Tutorial](https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/87643/)), we recommend using DNS [1.1.1.1](https://one.one.one.one/).\
• If this still doesn't work, try using a VPN or check that your antivirus isn't blocking access to the [website](https://www.pangyareborn.com/).
